So Barb figured out what the cold wet windy day yesterday was for.....to make us appreciate TODAY!!!! MOSTLY SUNNY!!!!! with some clouds....and Still no broken spokes, so life is good. We rode from Brookings to Port Orford. our last big stretch was down from Humbug Mtn grade. they were sweeping the highway and had only one lane open, so after all the cars went we had the whole freeway to ourselves for the decent...WAY COOL! but no pictures of it.but we did get some pics of the coast,
easy ride today, mostly flat only a few moderate climbs.

We saw lots (probably 4 or 5) people going the other way. one was flying the flag of Granada (I think). didn't get to talk much. seems lime everyone was trying to make up for yesterday. but everyone was smiling and yelling "NICE DAY!!!!"

found great accommodations. real low price, small room but clean, comfortable beds, hot showers and the toilets flushed (well most of the time) :)
we went out to dinner and when we came out of the restaurant it was pouring rain..likin this hotel stuff and not the tent, especially for tomorrow AM
